Shanghai: hundred counterfeited car accessories for HONDA confiscated |

It is revealed by Shanghai Pudong New Area bureau for industry and commerce on January 28 that, the first case of counterfeited car accessories was investigated and 117 pieces of counterfeited car accessories for HONDA were confiscated. Lately, law enforcers from the department undertook investigations against two markets for car accessory and part of the operators after receiving reports by related shareholders, and captured a great deal of car accessories infringing the trademark of "HONDA", including brakes, water tanks, oil filters and so on. "'本田' and 'HON-DA' are all registered trademarks in China by Honda Motor Co., Ltd and have been cognized as Chinese well-known trademarks." Said the principal of the department of intellectual property and law affairs in the company. Although there are similar trademarks at the striking position of the stores of the infringing operators, the car accessories sold by these stores were mostly counterfeits. |
