Hunan: Yiyang captures fake famous electrical appliances |

Days ago, in the special pre-festival rectification of market carried out by Yiyang Municipal Industrial and Commercial Bureau, the law enforcers of the department, according to complaints, captured 437 pieces of products concerning fake "Meidi" and "Gree", including 30 fake rice cookers, 249 gas stoves, 22 sets of range hoods, 21 water heaters and 58 sets of Yuba under suspicion of counterfeiting "Meidi"; 11range hoods, 11 water heaters, 5 rice cookers, 4 gas stoves , 16 sets of induction cookers and 20 heaters under suspicion of counterfeiting "Gree", and the total value of trademark was 35,000 yuan. After Guangdong Midea Electric Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. identified, the electrical products seized by law enforcement action were counterfeit products. All "Meidi" and "Gree" are well-known trademarks in China. Selling fake "Meidi" and "Gree" products is a typical behavior of infringing IPRs of enterprises with China Well-known Trademarks. |
