On March 19, Yixing Service Center for IPR protection, IPR Service Center of Nanjing Normal University in Yixing and the "Practice Base for Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property "co-established by Yixing Municipal Procuratorate and Law Collage of Nanjing Normal University were unveiled at the same time. Leaders of Yixing Wang Zhonsu, Wang Hualiang, Du Sidan and the relevant leaders of Nanjing Normal University attended the opening ceremony.
In recent years, Yixing vigorously implements the strategies of "science and technology prospering city", "talent enhancing city" and "quality and intellectual property promoting city", puts emphasis on promoting innovation-oriented urban construction, and the quality of economic and social development is effectively enhanced. Especially along with the expanding cooperation of production and research, accelerating the construction of "three creations" carrier and gathering of high-end talents, the ability on IP creation of enterprises in Yixing is markedly reinforced, the city's contribution rate of brand-name products was over 30%, the patent applications was close to 10,000 pieces, and more than 300 standards constitutions and amendments was made with the city's participation. The establishment of "two centers and one base" will provide strong support for Yixing to promote the work of IP services and protection.
The principals of towns, parks, streets and related departments, over 180 hi-tech enterprises and key enterprises also attended the training meeting on IP law held at the same time.
