Sichuan: Chengdu strengthens communication on IP judicial and administrative protection |

In order to further boost the construction of "5.26" project and enhance the professionalism and capacity of law enforcement of the IP administrative law enforcers in Chengdu, on the afternoon of March 3, more than 60 law enforcers from the IP Offices in 20 districts and counties observed a patent infringement case hearing judged by the city's Intermediate People's Court. Chengdu Municipal Intermediate People's Court is the key linkage unit of patent protection in Chengdu, which accumulated rich experiences in trial and mediation of patent infringement dispute. After the adjournment, the Judge of the Third Court of Civil Case made explanations on obtaining evidence of patent infringing cases, handling procedures of patent infringement dispute cases and demur and so on. Such a kind of method combining theory and practice was welcomed by the majority of patent administrative law enforcers. They agreed to further strengthen the organic convergence of administrative protection and judicial protection of intellectual property rights, enhance the exchange of learning and constantly improve the overall level of IPR enforcement in the future. |
