Henan launches research on IP soft science in 2010 |

On March 8, Henan Provincial Intellectual Property Office issued a notice to require relevant units to determine its own research plan on IP soft science in 2010 and officially launch the annual research work on IP soft science combining with their own reality, and referring to the research projects defined by Provincial Intellectual Property Office. Henan IP soft science research projects in 2010 include supporting independent innovation, consummating the research on policy system of intellectual property rights; protection of intellectual property research for high-tech enterprises in Henan Province; empirical research in IP protection assistance in Henan Province; enterprises' IP development level research; Science and Technology Innovation and Intellectual Property Development Research for Colleges and Universities in Henan Province and so on. It is learnt that, the application units will study out research plans aiming at the planned projects, fill out "declaration of research on IP soft science in Henan Province", the declaration must defines the background and rationale, research programs, research base, project leader, researchers, budget and other contents, the formal project will be initiated after examination and improvement by Henan Provincial Intellectual Property Office. |
