Sichuan: Panzhihua to ameliorate patent application environment

This year, Panzhihua City will take a pile of measures to promote patent applications. First, the city will erect Panzhihua IPR Leading Group and Panzhihua Leading Group for National IPR Pilot City Work, and deploy pilot work tasks to grass-root governmental departments; second, actively encourage key enterprises and industrial parks with conditions to work out IPR strategies; third, build Panzhihua IPR Service Center to provide IPR holders services on their patent applications and protection, further raise the ability of Panzhihua in IPR creation, use, protection and management, quicken the pace of the commercialization of independent innovative fruits;

It is learnt that the patent filings in the whole city are expected to hit 600 pieces.
