Recently, all intellectual property offices across Henan Province actively take measures to boost the intellectual property (IP) work in industry clusters, which is another highlight in the IP work for Henan Province, accelerates the economic reconstruction and plays an important role in improving the IP predominance of the Province.

In 2010, Henan takes the industry cluster as the key carrier for systems of modern industry, modern town, and independent innovation, and issues a series of policies and measures to expedite the construction of industry clusters. In order to carry out the IP work in enterprises, fast develop the IP economy, and build the province into a strong province of IP resource, Henan Provincial Intellectual Property Office issued in February the Action Scheme on IPR Special Campaign in Industry Clusters, focusing on eradicating the situation of "zero patent" in enterprises in industry clusters.

It is learnt that, by the end of March, all municipalities directly controlled by the provincial government will fully kick off the IPR special campaign in industry clusters to let IPR work to be part of the governmental work of Henan Province, so as to make contributions to the construction of Henan.
