Wahaha board chairman proposes to amend Trademark Law

During the "two sessions", President of Wahaha Group Zong Qinghou will propose proposals on enhancing the protection of folk brands.

In the proposal on Amending Trademark Law and Enhancing well-known, famous trademarks and folk brand protection, Zong Qinghou forwarded three suggestions. First, regulate the protection system for well-known and famous trademarks in particular chapters and parts; second, regulate more for united trademarks and defensive trademarks and reasonably guide the holders of well-known and famous trademarks to register such kinds of trademarks; third, amend the current law procedure which bears objection, limit the qualification of applicants whole start objection procedure to avoid the misuse of such procedure.
