"Management Measures for Patent Subsidy in Haikou" (hereinafter referred to as "Measures") was approved at the executive meeting of Haikou in the morning of March 4th, which will further encourage inventions and speed up the implementation of the transformation of patented technologies.
It is learnt that, the "Management Interim Measures for Patent Subsidy in Haikou" was implemented on January 1 in 2006, and was revised as "Management Measures for Patent Subsidy in Haikou" on April 1 in 2008. The "Measures" re-regulated the subsidy standard as: the invention patent with total payment will be assisted with 5,000 yuan, and the invention patent with 30% payment will be assisted with 2,500 yuan, and the invention patent with 15% payment will be assisted with 2,000 yuan. The utility model and design patents will be assisted with 800 yuan and 500 yuan respectively per one; encourage applications. The invention patent which gain international authorization will get a one-time subsidy for 15,000 yuan per one; and the utility model patent will get a one-time subsidy for 5,000 per one.
The "Measures" regulates that the guided assisted objects are the invention patent projects which have been implemented or are preparing to implement in Haikou, and with high technological content, good market prospects, and a large potential economic benefits or social benefits, the subsidy is from 50,000-300,000 yuan for each one.
