Guangdong: investigation on patent legislation

On March 2, Guangdong Provincial People's Congress went to Shenzhen City for the investigation on Guangdong Patent Regulations (Draft). At the symposium, they listened to the opinions and suggestions from the governmental departments of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress, enterprises and patent agencies.

The participants unanimously believed that the issuance of Guangdong Patent Regulations will push the development of IPR in the province and will create a sound legal environment for the promotion of independent innovation, the construction of innovation-oriented city and the good and fast development of economy and society. The attendees also discussed the heated issues on intensifying administrative protection, enhancing patent law enforcement and cultivating patent law enforcers.
