13 ICH Sichuan Opera successors gain certificate

On March 2, Sichuan Provincial Department for Culture awarded certificates for the 13 Intangible Cutural Heritage (ICH) Sichuan Opera successors. Among them, three artists including Ren Tingfang, Xu Shounian and Xiao Demei received national certificate of ICH successor, and 10 successors including Liu Yun, Xu Mingchi, Cai Shaobo and others received provincial certificate.

According to the introduction of Du Jianhua, Director of Art Research Institute of Sichuan Opera, Sichuan currently has a total of 20 ICH Sichuan Opera successors including 6 national ICH successors and 14 provincial successors, and they will make three model performances on the ICH Day in June.
