Qinghai: to foster trademark brands in three fields

In 2009, Qinghai fostered 1,810 pieces of trademarks and formally filed 1,141 pieces. This year, Qinghai will concentrate its trademark registration work on three fields, i.e. agriculture and animal husbandry including food, beef and mutton, potato, cole and flowers, industry including food & drinks, industrial products and salt and service industry including tourism, resort exploitation and hotels.

Nowadays, 11 products with local characteristics in Qinghai gained geographical indication certificates. For the future, Qinghai will continue to create trademarks in the three above-mentioned fields.
