Emblem for China National Games applied for patent registration

It is learnt from the press conference of Preparatory Committee of the Ninth National Games on March 1 that, according to the relevant provisions, the name, emblem, and mascot of the Ninth National Games have applied for special mark and patent registration before industrial and commercial administration departments and patent administration departments.

It is understood that, the management measures to be constituted for the use and protection of special mark of the Ninth National Games and other relevant details include: the Chinese and English names of the Ninth National Games and abbreviated name (abbreviations, rewriting words), emblem, mascot and the other special symbols. The Preparatory Committee and the organizations are responsible for the license, use, supervision and other administrative activities of special emblems of the Games. The enterprises established according to law, institutions, social organizations and individual industrial and commercial lessees may apply for the paid-use of special signs. Any organization or individual shall not use the distinctive emblems of the Ninth National Games for commercial activities without the permission of The Preparatory Committee.
