Liaoning Province gains national subsidy of 1.04 million yuan on PCT applications last year |

In 2009, the central finance set up the special funds for Chinese enterprises to apply for patent outside, which earmarked for the subsidy of domestic small and medium enterprises (SMEs), public institutions and scientific research institutions "going out" to foreign patent applications. Liaoning Province (in addition to Dalian) had the total of 15 units with 23 projects gained national financial support of 1.04 million yuan. Liaoning Provincial Intellectual Property Office and the intellectual property management departments at all levels across the province strictly refer to the related regulations of Ministry of Finance, actively carry out work, seriously implement the work of policy publicity, project information collection and organizing declaration, and laid a good foundation for Liaoning's project passing national examination. In recent years, the ability of original creation of Liaoning's enterprises were enhanced continuously, more and more enterprises adopt the strategy of actively participating in international competition, and the PCT applications were increased year by year. |
