Anhui appraises ten powerful counties in patent applications

From the perspective of patent applications, Anhui appraised ten powerful counties, i.e. Fanchang, Wuhu, Nanling, Feixi, Ningguo, Tianchang, Huaiyuan, Guangde, Feidong and Wuwei.

Last year, patent applications in Anhui soared to 16,386 pieces, which directly resulted from the increase of patent applications filed by counties. In 2009, Anhui conducted the pilot work for IPR Rich County Project to lift the level of counties in IPR creation, application, protection and management and enhance their independent innovation abilities. Besides, the six counties including Fanchang, Tianchang, Huaiyuan, Tongling, Ningguo and Feixi were included into National IPR Rich County Project. Based on statistics, the ten rich counties filed 3,930 pieces of patents, accounting for 58.0% of the total amount of patent applications filed by counties in Anhui.
