Hubei: Enshi gains another two GI products

It is learnt from Enshi Quality Supervision Bureau that Enshi obtained another two geographical indication (GI) products. Thus, the amount of GI products in the city reached 13, which is the most in the whole province.

Generally speaking, the special quality, reputation and other characteristics of GI products were mainly affected by local natural or social factors. Applying for GI trademarks is a common way to protect characteristic products in the world. By this means, natural and social resources and geographical heritages can be well protected and meanwhile characteristic industries can be promoted.
