Hainan: Sanya protects agricultural IP, 21 trademarks registered |

According to Sanya Rural and Township Enterprise Management Bureau, Sanya has guided actively enterprises and farmers' specialty cooperative organizations in brand creation, creating a fine environment for firms' products and independent intellectual properties. Up till now, Sanya's rural and township enterprises and farmers' specialty cooperative organizations has registered 21 trademarks. "Good products without brands still couldn't make development," realized Chen Shifeng, director of Sanya Tianfeng Tropical Fruit Farmers' Specialty Cooperative Organization. He said that, in order to make further development, enterprises should have their own brands. With the help of the Sanya Rural and Township Enterprise Management Bureau, Tianfeng registered "Xinfengyuan (鑫锋源)" trademark for tropic fruits in March. Starting from this year, Sanya has helped the trademark registration of "Sanya Mongo (三亚芒果)", "Yiran (伊然)", "Binglanghe (槟榔河)" and "Nanlu (南鹿)". Leading enterprises' action boosts the development of the agriculture products in Sanya, and is leading farmers to a more prosperous way, said the principal for the Sanya Rural and Township Enterprise Management Bureau.
