Hubei held work symposium on anti-pornography and anti-illegal publications |

On October 15, Hubei held the work symposium on anti-pornography and anti-illegal publications in Wuhan, and summarized the work on anti-pornography and anti-illegal publications this year and made arrangement for the next stage. From October 8 to 11, Hubei Provincial Office of Anti-pornography and Anti-illegal Publications investigated the publication markets and printing enterprises. It was reported that, 470,000 illegal and pirated publications were captured, 1,433 booths and 177 printing enterprises were closed; over 20,000 pornographic messages online were found and deleted, 71 illegal websites were investigated and published, and more than 150 pornographic websites abroad were required to be prevented. The symposium also made key deployment for the next stage, including further combating pornographic messages online and sent by mobile phones, carrying out special campaigns and reinforcing the investigation of significant cases and daily supervision. |
