MOST and MOR discuss on advancing indigenous innovation of high speed railway

On the afternoon of September 27, Vice Chairman of the 11th CPPCC and Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang and the Secretary of the Party Group of Ministry of Railways and Minister Liu Zhijun had a formal discussion on deepening cooperation and advancing indigenous innovation of high speed railway.

Minister Wan Gang fully affirmed the achievements made in the indigenous innovation of China’s high speed railway and showed his respect for the important contribution of railway staff in raising China’s national competitiveness and benefiting common people.

Wan Gang pointed out that, the MOST and MOR will deepen and explore more cooperative field, improve technology and innovation management systems, build up S&T talent cultivation, centralize national S&T resources to accelerate the indigenous innovation of core technologies relevant to high speed railway and drive the upgrading of related industries.
