Working conference on copyright protection of library held

The working conference on copyright protection of library was held on September 26 in Beijing. National Copyright Administration, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education and other related departments carried out researches on the copyright protection of library.

Director of the Copyright Administration Division of National Copyright Administration Wang Ziqiang pointed out that library is an important part of the construction of socialism culture and is an important platform of the Party and Government to provide cultural services for public. He hoped each related department to strengthen self-discipline and industry administration, severely implement the copyright law and maintain the overall image of the industry.

Inspector of the Copyright Administration Division of National Copyright Administration Xu Chao made a special lecture on the related legal issues of library and copyright protection, and he explained the significance, legal basis, working focus and the points needed to pay attention in practice of the copyright protection of library.
