Guangdong-Hongkong IP Seminar held |

The seminar on intellectual property (IP) and SMEs' development of Guangdong and Hongkong in 2010 was held on June 25 in Guangzhou. The seminar was especially held for the Hongkong SMEs in Guangdong Province and the mainland enterprises to strengthen enterprises' IP protection and enhance their competitiveness. Director of the IPO in Hongkong SAR Xie Xiaofang expressed that the seminar attracted about 250 representatives of the SMEs and governmental officials, and provided platform for the SMEs of the two sides to understand the latest development of IPRs in the region. The two sides have held seminars of such kind together since 2004 and popularized IP protection to the SMEs, which have been successfully held in Dongguan, Shaoguan, Shunde, Huizhou, Jiangmen, Zhanjiang, Zhuhai, Shantou and Zhongshan. |
