On June 24, the law enforcers of Shangqiu Municipal Intellectual Property Office respectively issued "treatment advice on the commodities with patent symbols" to two pharmacies suspected of selling fake patents to charge them to stop the sale of the fake medicines.
All the factories of the two fake medicines are not in Henan Province, and Shangqiu Municipal Intellectual Property Office required the businesses to immediately notify the factories or suppliers to stop the behaviors of counterfeiting. The law enforcers also publicized the patent laws and regulations to the principals of the pharmacies and expressed that they would help the two pharmacies to construct the system for the management of inventory on patent products.
It is learnt that, from April 26 to May 26 this year, the IPO carried out the patent law enforcement in the circulation filed for three times and inspected over 4,500 commodities concerning 36 items of products with patent marks and made above treatments.
